So, it's been a long and painful road with Ruby learning to swim (shocker, I know).  She is finally doing something besides crying in the pool now.  Here is Ruby a week or so ago, working on her back float!

BCS Winter Concert

Last night was great fun watching Zoe in her first elementary school concert.

The school music teacher, Mr. Belles did a great job with all the kids.  It was an interesting concert...not what I expected.  He ran it more like what we would see if we sat in during his class...which was refreshing.  Pretty much the kinders just performed their songs but the older students, if they didn't get it right, Mr. Belles had them begin again.

The Kinders performed three or four songs...one in Mandarin.  I'll try and post the video I have but it was from too far away so I don't think you'll be able to tell but Zoe had lots of enthusiasm and knew all the words and hand motions.  She clearly enjoyed herself and it was super fun to watch her.

Morning at the library

Reading buddies program where kids get to read to specially trained therapy dogs. So fantastic! Zoe got smart on her second round in and picked a really challenging and long book so she could stay in there longer! :)

A Big Accomplishment for Zoe!

Zoe finished the turkey trot race at school today! We iced her foot this morning (before school) and did some massage in the sore spots.

It was a long distance and a huge accomplishment! She came in dead last but she finished...so proud of her! An emotional morning for Mommy and a proud moment for Zoe!

Ruby Rose Chin Presents....

Turn up your volume to the loudest setting so you can hear. Soooo proud of Ruby - she got up in front of her "reading" class and recited a nursery rhyme.
She starts off with "...I'd like to recite one of my favorite nursery rhymes..."
Everyone gave her huge applause cause she was the littlest and cutest one! :)
