RUBY SHARES HER WISDOM

Yesterday, we had friends over for swim lessons.  Ruby's little friend, Dana (Ava's sister), was over and Ruby was sharing her wisdom with Dana. She is, after-all, 6 months older. ;-)

Ruby was chatting with Dana about a myriad of things when Jess (Dana & Ava's mom) heard Ruby filling in Dana:  "Ya know, when we getting older and grown up, we're going to have really big boobies!"

DRESS UP

Zoe and Ruby were supposed to go to Eliana's 7th bday party today. Theme: come dressed as your favorite character from a book. Zoe just finished reading Charlotte's Webb so she wanted to be fern. And, Ruby was Wilbur, the pig.

Zoe didn't go to the party cause she just got over yet another sickness - fever and stomach cramps -argh!....but, she still wanted to dress up!

PANCAKES

After countless weekends of making my children super fantastic and healthy pancakes, G took his first stab at it today with way too much chocolate, enriched everything and a consistency that looked like something we threw up yesterday.

The result? Dad got a "medal" and crowned king of pancakes and I got a white piece of paper with a big red "x" on it! Fair? I think not! On the flip side, I'm looking fwd to sleeping in on Saturdays from now on!
