Zoe update

We're finishing up at the dr's office now. Cast is off and although you can still see the break (dr said it was quite severe), there is significant new bone growth and it is healing nicely.

She wants Zoe in PT for another 4 weeks at least. She said it will probably take at least that before she is walking properly.

She has a brace which dr and PT suggested for mental ease more than anything. She will be back in the wheelchair for a little while now-not sure how long. The next week or two will be a little tough. Dr said there will be some pain - particularly the ankle - from stiffness.

No biking or scooter or climbing structures for at least a month or two. Dr would like her swimming a lot and e exercises to build up her calf muscle. Dance class is on hold for another month or two! :)
