Ruby, on the other hand, has fever and a head/chest cold again. When will it end? I got some rest today (believe it or not) and feeling a lot better as of tonight! Fingers crossed.

What Day Is It?
This has been a bad 7-10 days in the Chin house...sickness after sickness. And, just when I thought it was getting better.... We now know that Greg didn't have food poisoning...def. stomach flu 'cause Zoe started vomiting at 3:30 a.m. and Ruby is also feeling under the weather again and I need a break so I can fully recover! What a mess!
Anyway, life does go on and so, Ruby and I were at the eye Dr. this morning while Greg was on vomit patrol. Thought you'd enjoy these cute pics of Ruby awaiting her first official eye exam (awesome vision by the way! who's kid is she?). Just a little eyelash dandruff (forgot the technical term) and she'll be just fine. :)

ZOE'S PRINCIPAL AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
So proud of Zoe! She was very excited to get her award today.
When her teacher was describing the next person to receive the award for excellence, her friends were nudging her saying that it must be for her. She already has a reputation amongst her friends of always doing her best work. :-)

SSSSHHHHHHH!!!!! DON'T SAY A WORD...YET!
We received the following email last week. Zoe has been chosen to receive a Principal's Award at her school (very big deal to the kids...)! Children receive Principal Awards related to the 6 Pillars at school. The one she has been chosen to receive is the best one...hehehehe...EXCELLENCE!
Anyway -- it's a SURPRISE!!!! SO, PLEASE DO NOT MENTION anything related to a Principal Award or ANYTHING close...the surprise is a big part of it! Greg and I will be going to her school for the assembly. She is going to be soooo excited...she's been dying for one! ;-)
We are so proud of her!!!!!
